I’ve experimented with many lash products so far. I wanted gorgeous celebrity-worthy fans, but I knew I wouldn’t get the look with natural methods. I prepared my lashes by removing makeup precisely. I made sure there was no makeup residue and read the directions for use included in the packaging. I started DIY lash extension by:
- applying a layer of the bonder – naturally I gave it time to become sticky.
- While waiting, I picked out the lash clusters.
- Then I put the clusters underneath my natural lashes, around a millimeter away from the eyelash line, and pressed them gently using the tweezers.
- And finally, I applied the sealer.
As promised by the brand, applying cluster lashes was fast and easy. The process took me less than 10 minutes.
How long do the DIY Lash Extensions last?
I enjoyed applying cluster lashes myself. What about their durability? The manufacturer claims the lash clusters stay put for 5 days.
I think we can make eyelash extensions last longer. I wore my DIY Lash Extensions for 8 days. During wear, I remembered about treating them gently and sleeping on my back. What’s interesting, I think I could wear them even longer but I was curious to see if they would be okay for reusing.
The manufacturer highlights that these cluster lashes are disposable, but after taking mine off, I could use them again because they had the same shape and didn’t get crooked or bent.
