Cluster lashes for self application (DIY) nanolash

I’ve experimented with many lash products so far. I wanted gorgeous celebrity-worthy fans, but I knew I wouldn’t get the look with natural methods. Strip lashes are the solution I’m familiar with, however, everyday application was irritating. That’s why I decided to try the DIY cluster lashes from Nanolash!

DIY Lash Extensions in a nutshell

Let me introduce the DIY Lash Extensions quickly. These are DIY cluster lashes whose application should take you 10 minutes tops. In addition, such at-home lash styling is supposed to last for up to 5 days!

The DIY Lash Extensions are available in 8 styles. I think it’s great because we can easily match them to the eye shape. I bought a single set including 36 cluster lashes for DIY application. They come in three sizes: 10, 12 and 14 mm. Because I’m big on eyelash experiments, I love the variety of styles available.

Nanolash also sells an eyelash extension set which, in addition to cluster lashes, contains:

  • Nanolash bonder – specially-designed lash adhesive 5ml, achieving the desired stickiness after 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Nanolash remover – formulation for removing clusters without causing damage to natural lashes.
  • Nanolash sealer – product for removing the tacky layer after applying the bonder.
  • eyelash tweezers – made from stainless steel, for grabbing and applying the clusters easily.

After taking the cluster lashes out of the case, I was surprised by how soft and lightweight they were. I knew putting those on wouldn’t cause any trouble!

DIY eyelash extensions – the moment of truth

Time for applying cluster lashes DIY Lash Extensions. The manufacturer promises it won’t take us longer than 10 minutes. I found it hard to believe so I even used a timer and started the treatment.

I prepared my lashes by removing makeup precisely. I made sure there was no makeup residue and read the directions for use included in the packaging. I started DIY lash extension by:

  • applying a layer of the bonder – naturally I gave it time to become sticky.
  • While waiting, I picked out the lash clusters.
  • Then I put the clusters underneath my natural lashes, around a millimeter away from the eyelash line, and pressed them gently using the tweezers.
  • And finally, I applied the sealer.

As promised by the brand, applying cluster lashes was fast and easy. The process took me less than 10 minutes.

How long do the DIY Lash Extensions last?

I enjoyed applying cluster lashes myself. What about their durability? The manufacturer claims the lash clusters stay put for 5 days.

I think we can make eyelash extensions last longer. I wore my DIY Lash Extensions for 8 days. During wear, I remembered about treating them gently and sleeping on my back. What’s interesting, I think I could wear them even longer but I was curious to see if they would be okay for reusing.

The manufacturer highlights that these cluster lashes are disposable, but after taking mine off, I could use them again because they had the same shape and didn’t get crooked or bent.
