Picking out a mascara? I had problems with choosing one too. I tested many products which failed yet I never gave up on searching! I was determined to find the best mascara. Considering my expectations and experience, I prepared a roundup of mascaras that are noteworthy.
How Did I Pick the Mascaras?
To be honest, finding the right mascara took me a long time. I tested both drugstore mascaras and products that aren’t that easily accessible. In the process, I learnt what the perfect mascara should do.
To me, the best mascara:
- is long-wearing; I hate mascara that flakes at the end of the day.
- doesn’t stick lashes together; poor lash separation doesn’t give lashes a neat look.
- comes with a properly-shaped brush for easy application.
Surely I also check if a product offers a safe formula. I don’t want my mascara to overburden the lashes and make them worse. If you have similar expectations towards mascaras, then the following ranking is made for you!
The Four Mascaras That I Recommend With a Clear Conscience
Are you ready, guys?
Check the mascaras that I highly recommend; the top picks from the products I’ve tested. I carefully evaluate each one. I was happy with the results, however, I’m not hiding the flaws that I noticed.
1. Nanolash Mascara
Let me start with mascara that has completely changed my approach to everyday eye makeup. It is called Nanolash, and it is a product that precisely defines and beautifies the shortest lashes in the eye corner.
Before I review the product thoroughly, let me mention one thing, namely, Nanolash offers two versions:
- Nanolash Volume Up Mascara; volumizing mascara
- Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara; curling and lengthening mascara
I bought both but I’ll review them as one product because of many similarities. In fact, what makeup looks they create is the only thing that makes them different.
The Nanolash mascara offers extraordinary wearability; there was no flaking or smudging after day of wear. I also loved the silicone-bristle, perfectly-shaped wand which guaranteed easy application.
The safe formula is another thing I like about the Nanolash mascara. My lashes didn’t look dry or damaged after taking it off.
2. Lashcode Mascara
The Lashcode Mascara is another noteworthy product providing lengthening and thickening effects. The brush is similar to the one in Nanolash mascara; it separates the lashes precisely and applies the product evenly from the root to the tip.
I also love how long the Lashcode Mascara stays put. I wore it all day, also in the rain, and I never spotted any mascara smears or flaking. In other words, I’m super happy with this product.
3. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
The Maybelline Great Lash Mascara is another product I decided to test and review. I got it because of the quite good price and interesting packaging. I’d never seen mascaras with green and pink design; it’s eye-catching for sure! As far as the product goes, it’s not that bad. The brush is rather decent so it was easy to apply.
On the other hand, I wish the mascara was longer-lasting… Plus, I guess we can’t avoid the product flaking off, which was the biggest flaw for me.
4. Revlon Grow Luscious Bold Lacquer Mascara
The Revlon Grow Luscious Bold Lacquer is a good mascara. I guess I would be still using it if I hadn’t found my Nanolash. Although I got some product on the eyelids during application, I can’t say bad things about its wearability.
The product is clump-free and flake-proof, but it takes long to dry so I had to wait before applying one more coat.
So… Which Mascara to Pick?
I realize that after reading the roundup you’re probably asking yourself which mascara to choose. I’m sorry but I won’t answer the question for you.
The product from Nanolash proved the best mascara for me, which is why I’m still using it and I guess I won’t replace it in the future. To me this is a flawless mascara that fulfills all needs of my lashes.
The decision about the best mascara for your lashes is up to you. Testing the reviewed products, I think you’ll pick your perfect mascara.
